As we go to the polls, the Church of Pentecost urges us to be agents of peace as children of God.
Matthew 5:9 KJV “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.”
In this same vein, it is expedient for us to choose peace in the midst of chaos in this world. Let’s vote for peace. There is a peace that surpasses all understanding and this peace can be found in only one person, the best leader of all times, who no one can vote out of power. His name is Jesus.
Philippians 4:7 KJV
“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
John 16:33 NKJV
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
The best decision anyone can make is to vote Jesus into his or her life. Though His reign or term has no end like our earthly presidential terms, He doesn’t force His rule into our lives.
He has given us the opportunity to choose between life and death, and as a good leader He admonishes us to choose life.
Deuteronomy 30:19 NLT
“Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live! “
Jesus is life. Jesus loves you! Vote Jesus today! Accept Him as your Lord and personal saviour today and see a wonderful and remarkable transformation in your life.
Say this prayer to vote Jesus into your life
Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I believe You came to die for my sins and that You rose again on the third day.
Forgive me for all my sins and write my name in the book of life .
Holy Spirit, please come into my life and help me walk in your ways.
From today, I go forward ever, and backwards never
